The Facts ma'am just the facts

1. Harris Plumbing has more active customers in the City of Dunedin than all the votes each Council member recieved in their last elections combined.

2. Since Fluoride was introduced to our City water Harris Plumbing has only put in one (1) Fluoride removing filter and only has record of one customer ever even questioning the use of Fluoride in our water over a span of 30 years.

3. The leading company for filtering water (that happens to be here in Dunedin) rarely installs a Fluoride filter in a 5 county radius per year.

4. Local Dentists (the only real experts) all agree Fluoride not only is safe and needed and a cost effective means to distribute care but there are no documented cases of Fluoride poisoning from drinking water. Fluoride has been used in drinking water systems since 1940 in America. Fluoride has been tested over and over in short and long term studies and is one of the safest things we do to our water.

Who will this really effect?

According to Dentists, local, county, state and federal records removing Fluoride will affect 30% of our people, once again the poorest amoung us and the ones that don't qualify for dental treatment. It is also forcast that the individuals who can get Medicare/medicaid to pick up the cost of Fluoride treatments or reduce it, can't afford to even go in the first place, they account for 18% of our people. So a total of 48% of our Dunedin residents were about to be cast aside over $00.48 cents a year out of our water bill.
